The largest state of the country is Uttar Pradesh which is the most populated state of the country. The state of Uttar Pradesh has given birth too many artists from different fields. Artist in Uttar Pradesh has made the sate feel proud with their talent. Uttar Pradesh has always given great talent to the nation in all the fields such as singing, dancing, acting, writing, etc.
Apart from the female artists there are many famous male artists of Uttar Pradesh who have been working continuously in their respectable fields such as, Kailash Kher, Dr. Hari Om, Harshit Saxena, Vineet Singh, etc.

1. Aarti Bajaj
Aarti Bajaj (Hindi: आरती बजाज) is an Indian film editor. She has edited films like Jab We Met and Aamir. The most appreciated works of her are Rockstar (2011), Highway (2014). Aarti Bajaj is one of the prolific editors working in Hindi Cinema currently.
Aarti Bajaj began editing with Anurag Kashyap's unreleased film Paanch. She followed it with his controversial and acclaimed film Black Friday for which she was nominated for a Star Screen Award in 2008.
2. Gauhar Jaan
Gauhar Jaan was one of the very popular Indian singer and dancer. Gauhar was one of the first performers of the country to record music on 78 rpm records which was then released by Gramophone Company of India.
Gauhar Jahan is still remembered with popularizing Hindustani classical music such as dadra, kajri, thumri, tarana, etc.
3. Manjari Chaturvedi
Manjari Chaturvedi is one of the most popular Indian Sufi Kathak dancers of all time. She is from Lucknow Gharana and belongs to a very well settled family of the state capital.
Manjari Chaturvedi started her career as a Kathak dancer from the state capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. She is particularly dedicated to Sufi mysticism and has performed at various stages and got much popularity in the country.
4. Rehana Begum
Rehana Begum is a noted artisan of India. She is resident of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh in India and is an expert in Chikan (embroidery) work. She was born in 1952 and learnt the craft from her father Hasan Mirza. Her work is on display at Craft Museum of Uttar Pradesh. She has participated in many exhibitions.
She was conferred Shilp Guru Award by Government of India for her outstanding work.
